Jim and Sue
Found a shoe
Gave it to dad
Dad was glad to get the shoe
But one was all he had
Jim and Sue brought another shoe
It was pink with a pearl
Dad said it wouldn't do
It was for a girl
Antoher trip brought a shoe
With a big silver buckle
Dad said his the other shoe tied
He really had a chuckle
This went on for some time
Every one wanted a shoe
Some asked "Hey, where's mine?"
What am I to do?
Soon everyone had two shoes
And both were the same
It was fun for Jim and Sue
Who thought it was a game
Everyone thanked Jim and Sue
For helping them out today
And for finding all the missing shoes
That simply lost their way
